Extra-curricular Activities
At Langley Park School for Girls, enrichment is an integral part of our commitment to Enabling Everyone to Thrive. We believe that every student should have access to a broad range of meaningful experiences that complement academic learning, develop character, strengthen wellbeing, foster a sense of belonging and prepare them for future success. Our enrichment programme is intentionally designed to reflect the values, vision and curriculum of the school whilst supporting the personal development of every student.
Our enrichment offer is underpinned by the principle that participation in high-quality enrichment helps young people develop skills, confidence, aspirations and positive relationships. Through clubs, societies, sport, performing arts, leadership opportunities, volunteering, cultural experiences, careers activities and community partnerships, students are encouraged to discover new interests, develop existing talents and contribute positively to the world around them.

Computer room access – Room M211 is open after school for the serious use of computers.
The Library - Open throughout the day from 8.00am until 4.15pm. The Library provides a welcoming environment conducive to study and reading-for-pleasure. Students can browse the wide selection of fiction and non-fiction titles and access the internet and curriculum networks. The Library also hosts a variety of events to promote reading.
Homework Club takes place after school on Monday to Thursday.

Educational Visits and Foreign Exchanges
There are many opportunities for students to partake in a range of visits and exchanges, many of these are subject related and include regular music tours, sports tours for our senior school teams as well as a bi-annual ski trip and unique experiences run by organisations including Camps International and World Challenge.

German and Spanish exchange visits
Music tours in Austria, France, Netherlands and Isle of Wight
STEM centred trips to the European Space Center and London museums

MFL trips to Berlin, Paris and Seville
Politics and History trips to Washington and Brussels
