KS5 Examination Results - August 2025

We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Year 13 students, the Class of 2025, who have once again demonstrated resilience, ambition, and excellence in their final examinations.

This year, over half of all grades awarded were at A*-B, with an impressive 80% of grades at C or above, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our students and staff. In our wide-ranging vocational courses, students excelled with an average grade of Distinction, and an exceptional 64% of all grades at Distinction or Distinction*.

Congratulations to the following students who achieved A*/A grades (or Distinction*/Distinction) in 3 or more of their A-Level or vocational courses:

"We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students. These results are a testament to their commitment and the unwavering support of our teaching staff, parents and carers. They have certainly demonstrated our school’s values of ambition and determination in achieving this academic success. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the class of 2025 for their contribution to our school and Sixth Form community. They have been involved in so much around school, leading, supporting and inspiring our student body, while developing as young adults. It’s wonderful to see so many of our students securing exciting futures in higher education, employment, and prestigious apprenticeship programmes and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the future.”

 

 

 

 

2025 GCSE Examination Results Headlines

There was plenty to celebrate at Langley Park School for Girls today as Year 11 students received their GCSE results. The atmosphere was filled with pride, relief, and joy as students, families, and staff came together to mark this important milestone.

This year’s results highlight the hard work and determination shown by our students:

·         One in three grades were at the top levels (7–9)

·         68% of students achieved Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths

·         Half of our students secured a strong pass in the English Baccalaureate (EBacc)

We saw 22 students achieving 9 or more Grades 7-9 in their subjects. Congratulations to Amber J, Nehara F, Leila P, Heather G, Amber-Lyna T, Jess M, Mai P, Anastasia P M, Scarlett M, Noah M, Iris L, Hannah G, Vanessa T, Madison B, Nylah T, Kitty B, Lucy P, Isis S, Sophie B, Capucine T, Delilah W, Holly E.

Steve Whittle (Headteacher) said:

“We could not be prouder of our students. These results are a reflection of their commitment, resilience and the support they’ve received from teachers, families, and friends along the way. Today is about celebrating not just their grades, but the journey they’ve taken together as a year group.”

Many students will be staying on with us in LPGS6 to continue their studies in Sixth Form, while others are looking forward to starting courses at local colleges and training providers. We know they will continue to thrive. We look forward to seeing the many ways they will go on to shape their futures.”
