Careers Advisor

REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2020

Salary: NJC Scale 5 Pt 11-15 FTE £24,030-£25,809 per annum

(Actual Salary:  £19,959-£21,436)

36 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time)

LPGS seeks to appoint a full time Careers Advisor to support young people in making choices about their programmes of study, now and in the future.  LPGS is a thriving and exceptionally successful 11-19 school with a co-educational Sixth Form.  2019 results were the best ever at both GCSE and A-Level.  The LPGS Careers Academy is well established and we now seek someone who is passionate about young people accessing the choices they need and deserve.

The role would suit someone who has previously been a Teacher or Careers Advisor.  A commitment to creating and facilitating the best careers, information, advice and guidance possible, as well as the organisational and administrative skills to deliver it are paramount.
