Cover Coach (Fixed-term Contract)

 Salary: NJC Scale 4, Point 7 (£22,377)

Equivalent of working : 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

 

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint a talented and confident individual with natural authority, excellent communication and organisational skills to provide cover for lessons including PE, assist in the running of our extra-curricular programme; as well as high level administrative support within the PE department. This post has come about in response to the need for students returning to school to increase levels of activity. No formal teaching qualifications are required, but sporting experience in either netball, football, hockey or basketball is essential. There is the possibility that the successful candidate (if a graduate) could subsequently become part of a GTP programme. This is a 36 hours per week contract, however, the successful candidate will need to be flexible around their working hours and commit to supporting the broad fixtures programme offered by the school.

Hours: 8.15am-3.25pm 31.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year

(term time inc. PD Days)

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the Student Support team in Summer Term 2021.

 

This post will be supporting specific named or groups of students and those with medical needs.


Working with class teachers across the curriculum, the SEND team and medical support staff, the successful candidates will assist students with their education and, where appropriate, support access to the curriculum for those who are physically or otherwise prevented from doing so themselves.

 

This post would be ideal for someone who has an interest in working within SEND or someone who is considering a future career in teaching. 

 

Although experience and qualifications will be an advantage, first and foremost we wish to appoint the right people to complement our team.  The successful applicants will have access to on-site training and support which is specifically linked to the needs of identified students.

 

We are particularly interested in those with an interest or experience in supporting students with numeracy difficulties.

Site Assistant

SITE ASSISTANT (Full Time)

36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary – NJC Scale 2 £21,408

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Site Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time for the school with planned future developments to the site. The team aims to provide an effective and reliable service to the School and its staff.

 

The successful candidate will have the skills and knowledge to support a productive and safe environment for staff, students and visitors to the school. There will be access to full training and personal development opportunities.

 

Duties will include:

  • site & premise security
  • porterage
  • set-up for school events/activities e.g. parents evenings
  • fire alarm testing/maintenance of records
  • water hygiene management
  • minor repairs & maintenance
