EXAM INVIGILATOR

Rate of pay:  £10.34 per hour

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to support examination and assessment provisions on a casual/adhoc basis. 

The ideal candidate will be flexible, have effective communication skills and be confident with a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms.

Your main duties will be to ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and LPGS instructions.

SPORTS TECHNICIAN & COVER COACH

(Fixed Term Contract)

Start ASAP – Contract to July 2023

Salary: NJC Scale 5, Point 11 (£25,123)

Actual salary: £20,867pa

36 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint a talented and confident individual with natural authority, excellent communication and organisational skills to provide cover for lessons including PE, assist in the running of our extra-curricular programme; as well as high level administrative support within the PE department. This post has come about in response to the need for students returning to school to increase levels of activity. No formal teaching qualifications are required, but sporting experience in either netball, football, hockey or basketball is essential. There is the possibility that the successful candidate (if a graduate) could subsequently become part of a GTP programme. This is a 36 hours per week contract, however, the successful candidate will need to be flexible around their working hours and commit to supporting the broad fixtures programme offered by the school.

LPGS is an inclusive and academically successful school in South East London with results in terms of progress and attainment that put it in the top 5% of schools nationally. Public transport links are good and staff travel from across London and the South Coast. In October 2021, Ofsted found that if they undertook a Section 5 inspection they would judge us to be outstanding. In addition to this, 100% of staff asked told Ofsted that they would recommend the school.
