Hours: 8.15am-3.25pm 31.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year

Actual salary £15,255 per annum depending on experience

 

Langley Park School for Girls is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the Student Support team in Autumn Term 2021.

This post will be supporting specific named or groups of students and those with medical needs.

Working with class teachers across the curriculum, the SEND team and medical support staff, the successful candidates will assist students with their education and, where appropriate, support access to the curriculum for those who are physically or otherwise prevented from doing so themselves.

This post would be ideal for someone who has an interest in working within SEND or someone who is considering a future career in teaching. 

Although experience and qualifications will be an advantage, first and foremost we wish to appoint the right people to complement our team.  The successful applicants will have access to on-site training and support which is specifically linked to the needs of identified students.

We are particularly interested in those with an interest or experience in supporting students with numeracy difficulties.

PASTORAL MANAGER

REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2021

Salary: Associate payscale 6 - £26,997 per annum, pro rata

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, efficient Pastoral Manager (non-teacher) to support the excellent work of the Senior Pastoral Manager and pastoral team, to start in September 2021.  LPGS is a thriving and academically successful school.

£21,582 - £32,150 FTE

 

We are looking for two enthusiastic graduates to support our young people to achieve their potential. One role focuses on Maths or Science and the other will be dependent on the suitable candidate’s degree and A’ Level qualifications.

The role is one of mentoring and teaching students in small groups, developing their skills and confidence.

You may not have planned to work with young people but have revised your plans in the current context or you are planning to train as a teacher and would like some experience.  You may be someone considering returning to teaching. This role is in its second year, and is part of the government’s catch up funding programme. It offers a fantastic opportunity for anyone who may be considering entering the teaching profession and wishes to gain worthwhile experience in a highly successful and supportive school.
