HEAD OF FACULTY THAT INCLUDES DEPARTMENTS OF BUSINESS, LAW, POLITICS & SOCIOLOGY

LPGS seeks to appoint an ambitious and dynamic leader who can establish a faculty that encompasses Business studies GCSE, BTEC and A-Level; Sociology at Key stages 3 & 4, and Politics and Law A-Level. The successful candidate will already be a successful Head of Business studies. Responsible for line managing the heads of Law, Politics and Sociology, and responsible for the outcomes for approximately 412 students each year (and increasing as the LPGS Sixth Form grows). This is the ideal next step for someone ambitious to be a senior leader in the future.

The Heads of Faculty, along with Heads of Key Stage, form the Extended Leadership team that work closely with a small SLT team to deliver outstanding learning and personal development at this highly successful non selective girls’ comprehensive school with a mixed Sixth Form.

HEAD OF HUMANITIES FACULTY

We require a dynamic Head of Humanities Faculty for September 2021. LPGS is a thriving and academically successful school.  2019 results were the best ever at both GCSE and A-Level and put LPGS in the top 200 schools in the UK (including selective schools). We are the highest performing non-selective school in Bromley. The humanities faculty includes Geography, History, R.E, Travel & Tourism and enjoys outstanding student outcomes and increased numbers in our growing Sixth Form.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering excellent student progress within and beyond their own classroom. They will have experience of line managing their own subject and will be ready to line manage other departments. TEACHER OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

FIXED TERM CONTRACT

REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2021

Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) & TLR (salary negotiable)

 

Due to the success of Computer Science and an increase in Sixth Form recruitment, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic Teacher of Computer Science for September 2021.  LPGS is a thriving and academically successful school.  For experienced candidates, there may be additional responsibilities available.
