HEAD OF FACULTY OF MATHS AND COMPUTING

REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2022 (OR SOONER)

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

LPGS are looking for an excellent maths leader to take the Maths and Computing Faculty to the next stage of its development. The faculty has 3 experienced and talented key stage maths leaders and a Head of Computing & IT. We are fully staffed with qualified maths and computing specialists. Results across the school for 2021 are 92.77% 4+ at GCSE and 93.75% C+ at A Level in Maths. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for the right person to lead Maths as LPGS continues to grow and develop. In October 2021, 100% of staff asked told Ofsted that they would recommend the school.

The Heads of Faculty, along with Heads of Key Stage, form the Extended Leadership Team that work closely with a small SLT team to deliver outstanding learning and personal development at this highly successful non selective girls’ comprehensive school with a mixed Sixth Form.

LPGS is a calm, friendly and collaborative environment which offers strong staff support.  Our CPD programme gives all teachers time to pursue their own priorities.  This results in a two week October half term.  Please see application details on our website www.lpgs.bromley.sch.uk.  Completed application forms should be emailed to Helen Partridge, hpa@lpgs.bromley.sch.uk. Those interested in the post are invited to have an informal conversation with the Headteacher by contacting her PA, Vicky Rees, vre@lpgs.bromley.sch.uk
