Langley Park Learning Trust Further Updates

Over the course of the last two weeks, trustees and governors of Langley Park Academies and Langley Park School for Boys have been holding consultation meetings with the public, parents and staff to outline plans for the proposed new multi-academy trust and to listen to views and answer questions. We, as chairs of the two trusts, hosted the meetings along with Dr Hudson (CEO LPA), Mr Parsons (HT LPSB) and Micon Metcalfe, Chief Operating Officer for the two trusts. We have collated all the questions and responses arising from these meetings together with those received so far through the online form. Langley Park Learning Trust

Trustees and governors have adopted the provisional name 'Langley Park Learning Trust’ for the new organisation. A brochure has also been produced for the consultation process, which outlines the vision for the new trust and provisional plans. You can view a copy here: LPLT Brochure.

 

Timeline

There is a now a timeline available which explains to parents, carers and staff, the key stages in the process of setting up the new trust. You can see the timeline here: LPLT Timeline.

 

Consultation Period

We have decided to extend the consultation period to 9th March 2018. This will enable us to publish further information for consideration, specifically in relation to financial matters. This information will be made available by the end of February. Trustees and governors are keen to hear from as many of you as possible to inform the decisions we need to make. All feedback will be reviewed by the boards of LPSB and LPA and considered carefully at our board meetings in March 2018.
