FULL TIME ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER (SENCO) MATERNITY COVER

Langley Park School for Girls seeks a qualified and highly experienced SENCO to cover a maternity Assistant Headteacher post responsible for Inclusion. The role has responsibility for students with SEND and medical needs; CLAs; EAL including community languages; liaison with external agencies; KS2->3 transition; exams access arrangements and disadvantaged students.
The team has 18 members and includes an Assistant SENCO who is undertaking their SENCO qualification from September. As a key member of the SLT, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate ambition for all young people through a relentless focus on standards and progress, quality first teaching, big picture thinking and an ability to work autonomously as well as part of an extremely busy team.
Part time requests would be considered for the right candidate.
The role would begin in October half term to allow a thorough handover and last for the rest of the academic year.
