At Borough Market the students took Photographs in the style of Brazilian Photographer Geraldo De Barros; looking for interesting abstractions of different buildings to get a visual sense of the space. This was an opportunity for the students to practise their knowledge of using cameras in manual mode, to develop creativity and build a portfolio of images.

At Tate Modern the students studied a sculpture called, Pavilion Suspended in a Room I, created by Spanish Artist, Christina Iglesias. The students explored how this piece of Art relates to the photography of Geraldo De Barros in the sense of layers, construction and surface.

The students now move onto develop their gathered images using Adobe software such as Lightroom and Photoshop; an exhibition of the outcomes will go on display around this coming Christmas!

Well done to all of the students who took part in the trip!
