JP Borough Awards Evening 2017

Two of our award winners have been chosen by the Jack Petchey Foundation to be featured award winners. This means their achievements will be on the Jack Petchey Foundation website and in press releases due to the exceptional nature of their awards. They are two out of five chosen across the whole Borough. Well done to Bethan Adams Year 12 and Isobel Duncan Year 11.

Bethan JP Winner

Bethan was nominated by several staff and students. Bethan has gone above and beyond with her charity work both inside and outside school. Including the organising and collecting of old textbooks to donate to African schools. She stays behind every day helping the Music department and other students with their work. She has also contributed to multiple orchestras and performed in many school performances.

Isobel JP Winner

Isobel was nominated by the Languages department for her outstanding commitment to the promotion of languages across the school. She is not only extremely dedicated and enthusiastic in the classroom but goes above and beyond outside of it. Isobel has setup and runs a Language club inside school promoting different languages and cultures. The club even ran cultural themed events. Isobel has also presented a speech to the students in school about the importance of learning multiple languages and learning about other cultures.

Congratulations and well done to all our award winners!
