Jack Petchy Awards 2016

LPGS has been working alongside the Jack Petchey Foundation for many years. The Foundation exists to raise the  aspirations of young people, to help them take advantage of opportunities and play a full part in society. Each month across the school students are encouraged to nominate members from our school community who have gone the extra mile. We recognise these achievements in assemblies and with displays throughout the school and of course in the Newsletter!

Jack petchy awards 2016On Tuesday 22nd November last year’s winners were invited to the prestigious celebration event at the Bromley Churchill  Theatre. It was a fantastic opportunity to once again reward our outstanding winners for all of their hard work, perseverance and resilience. It also gives proud friends and families a chance to see the winners receive the recognition they deserve.

It was a loud, colourful and fun evening. There was lots of  audience participation, clapping, cheering and tears! There was  enjoyable entertainment from local schools and all of our  winners met Councillor Ian Payne, Mayor of Bromley.

Can I say another big ‘Well Done!’ to all our winners and remind all students that if they know someone who deserves this award Nominate! You can now all do this via the online application form on your homepage on Firefly!
